Raf has been passionate about roofing throughout his working career, starting with learning the trade on pressed metal tiles in the late 90s and expanding across all roofing forms to the present day. He has completed the full circle by now running the NZQA Block Courses for Roofing Apprentices as a contract trainer to Vertical Horizonz around New Zealand.
Raf's knowledge of the different products used in New Zealand is comprehensive, having installed roofing and cladding for over 25 years.

Since becoming involved in this industry, he has furthered his skills by completing his second Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, with a focus on the importance of mental health in the workplace and his thesis in the application of Lean Construction methodologies in the roofing industry in New Zealand. He uses streamlined systems across all aspects of the business, from start to finish.
